The agreement consolidates operations at an existing A Bridge Home facility and a newly constructed Tiny Home Village into a single lease covering both sites. The existing A Bridge Home site at 7700 Van Nuys has been operated by Hope the Mission since 2020 and includes approximately 100 beds. Its prior lease expired and has been running in holdover status. The new Tiny Home Village at 7724-7798 Van Nuys is being built within the surface parking lot of the Van Nuys Metrolink Station, covering roughly 25,780 square feet. It adds approximately 100 beds across 50 pallet units, including 5 ADA-accessible units, along with hygiene facilities, administrative structures, staff parking, an outdoor seating area, lockers, storage, perimeter fencing, and a pet relief area. Construction was managed by the Bureau of Engineering and was anticipated to be complete by the end of April 2026.
